In June 2025, the TODIMART electric scooter team spent six months developing a German ABE-certified electric scooter, legal for road use in Germany. What kind of electric scooter is this? How does it differ from other ABE-certified electric scooters?
First, in 2024, we began selling the TODIMART G2, an electric scooter now well-known to many TODIMART riders. It boasts a maximum power of 800W and a range of approximately 55km. Originally orange, then black, and now silver, it looks even more premium. The TODIMART G2ABE inherits the G2's design, with some modifications. The battery capacity has also been upgraded from the G2's 10.4AH to 13AH, ensuring greater range in urban areas.
Let's start with the scooter's handlebars. The TODIMART G2's instrument panel differs from the TODIMART G2ABE. The G2ABE's instrument panel is a speed-limited version, limited to 20 km/h. This change was made to comply with ABE certification. The instrument panel switch has been reduced from a four-button switch to a two-button one, and the left and right turn signals have been removed. A horn has been added, due to German regulations. The overall body design hasn't undergone significant changes. Since the left and right turn signals are gone, the side ambient lighting has been replaced with yellow safety reflective strips, as ABE certification doesn't allow for side ambient lighting.
The rear fender, where the electric scooter is located, has also been modified to allow customers to attach a license plate.
